Stiles, Lawrimore exchange vows
Jamie Megan Stiles of Hartselle and Michael Andrew Lawrimore of Falkville were wed July 2, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Church of God with Terry Nappier officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kelley and Vickie Stiles of Hartselle and Lisa Stiles of Cullman.
The groom is the son of Mike and Debbie Lawrimore of Falkville.
The church altar was decorated with ferns and ivy and the background featured a variety of colorful flowers, including lilies, roses and hydrangeas.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a formal gown of ivory Duchess satin. The strapless gown featured hand-sewn mirror sequins and bugle beads in a floral design underneath the bustline. A full ball gown skirt of boxed pleats fell from the deep Basque waistline and swept to a semi-cathedral length train.
Her walking veil of imported French tulle was edged with silver and featured clusters of crystal beads.
It was held by a matching bridal bandeau of crystals and rhinestones.
Her bouquet featured an arrangement of blush, white and Anna roses.
Amber Stiles of Falkville, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Shannon Stiles, cousin of the bride, Jessica Lawrimore, sister of the groom, both of Falkville, Misty Stone of Fairview, and Nicole Mercer of Cullman. They wore tea length dresses of lipstick (bright pink) and carried bouquets of assorted summer flowers in ivory, bright pink, yellow and orange with light pink roses.
Juliette Stiles of Falkville, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Bryan Holmes of Hartselle, cousin of the groom, was ring bearer.
Luke Lawrimore of St. Augustine, Fla., brother of the groom, was best man.
Groomsmen were Brandon Stiles of Cullman, brother of the bride, Jason Grandstaff of Falkville, Drew Stinson of Cullman, and Justin Powell of Hartselle.
Music was provided by Patsy Coots, aunt of the groom, Todd Coots, cousin of the groom, both of Cullman, and the groom's mother.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall.
The bride's table, draped in white cloth, featured a square three-layer cake with pink ribbon and a flower waterfall.
The groom's table, covered in green moss, featured a chocolate cream cheese red velvet cake garnished with grapes and strawberries.
Renee Stiles, aunt of the bride, served as wedding director.
Mandy Holmes Rowe and Amber Copeland assisted with the reception.
Ashley Holmes of Hartselle, cousin of the groom, attended the bride's book.
The couple honeymooned in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. They reside in Falkville.
A rehearsal party hosted by the parents of the groom was held July at in the fellowship hall of Piney Grove Christian Church.
