HJHS 7th grade team improves to 3-0

Hartselle's seventh-grade boys basketball team improved its record to 3-0 with a 42-23 win over Arab on Nov. 7. The Tigers saw 11 of 14 players score points while shooting 32 percent from the floor as a team.
"I am very proud of my boys," Hartselle coach Steve Knight said. "When you play as a team, good things happen."
Isaiah Fowler led the Tigers with nine points; Jake Hartselle had seven and Lonnie Dumas scored six points.
Will Tiffin and Terry Wiggins each scored four points and Will Lang, Matt Johnston, Hayden Dye, Ben Cagle, James Sieglock and Brad Vice had two points each.
Wiggins led the team with eight rebounds and Vice and Dumas each had seven.
Dumas also led the Tigers with three assists.
Jake Kimbrell had four rebounds and two assists.
