Funeral for Ruby V. Jones, 94, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005 at Sunshine Haven assisted living facility in Hartselle. She was born July 22, 1911 in Morgan County to Jasper Petway Roberts and Georgeann Jones Roberts. She was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was known to her family as Jones. She was a member of Basham United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ruble Dallas Jones, a great-granddaughter, Sara Beth Jones, her parents, eight brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a son, Dallas Malcolm Jones and wife Lorene of Neel; a daughter, Carolyn Jones Way and husband Donald of Neel; five grandchildren, Jeffery Jones, David Jones, Kenny Way, Brian Way and Leigh Ann Adcock; four great-grandchildren, Weston Way, Peyton Way, Lane Adcock and Libby Adcock.
Pallbearers were Jeffery Jones, David Jones, Kenny Way, Brian Way, Chris Adcock and Jimmy Roberts.
