Funeral for Jerry Curby Edwards, 87, of Falkville will be Thursday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman with Bro. Ricky Moon officiating.
Burial will be in Shelton Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Edwards died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Falkville Health Care Center. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. With the U.S. Corps of Engineers, he helped build the Burma Road. He retired from Grief Bros Corporation with many years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lesilie Smith Edwards; and a son, Terry D. Edwards.
He is survived by a daughter, Sue Trammell and husband Darrell of Hartselle; two daughters-in-law Beckie Edwards of Hanceville and Gail Coursey of West Point; a sister, Nettie Eilliot of Hanceville; a brother, Audie Edwards of Cullman; three grandchildren, Monica Brewer and husband Curtis of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Alan Edwards and Stacy Edwards and wife Rachel, all of Hanceville; five great-grandchildren, Clancy, Sloane and Braxton Brewer, all of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Brittany and Alexis Edwards, both of Hanceville.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Jerry Curby Edwards.
