Bush Anderson Gilchrist, 56, of Montgomery, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005. Mr. Gilchrist was preceded in death by his father, Claude Bush Gilchrist. He built a thriving Internet furniture sales business, Mozeke Inc., and was a member of Hope Hull United Methodist Church. Mr. Gilchrist was an avid outdoorsman and a lover of nature. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout. Mr. Gilchrist is survived by his wife, Traci Sinclair Gilchrist; his mother, Bonnie Vest Gilchrist; a son, Wesley (Inge) Gilchrist; stepson, Christian Moore; a sister, Claudia G. Renfroe; two nieces, Allison and Bonnie Renfroe.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Hartselle City Cemetery.
Visitation was held at Peck Funeral Home from 1:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service. A visitation for his Montgomery-area friends and family was held on Saturday afternoon from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Tuckabatchee Area Council, 3067 Carter Hill Road, Montgomery, Al 36111.
