Funeral for Nancy Holt Stringer, 62, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Aug. 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Stringer died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005. She was born Sept. 9, 1942, in Morgan County to Luther O. Holt and Katie Robinson Holt. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of the Decatur Women's Bowling League for more than 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Wiley Holt and Luther Wayne Holt. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Stringer of Hartselle; two sons, Timothy Eugene Holt of Hartselle and George Leonard Haag III of Decatur; two daughters, Jeanie Holt Harding of Hartselle and Katie Scarlett Haag Bradford of Decatur; three brothers, Billy (Cigar) Holt of Decatur, Dauris Ray Holt of Hartselle and Henry Edward Holt of Falkville; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Weeks, Corey Holt, Dylan Sparkman, Blaine Holt, Billy Holt Jr., Rowdy Holt, Danny Stephens and Chris Moses.
