Funeral for Carolyn Pettit Hanners, 63, was Saturday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at Oak Park Church of God in Decatur with the Revs. Carl Maynard and Paul Lombard officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hanners died Thursday, July 28, 2005, at her residence. She was born December 16, 1941, in Morgan Country to J.B. Pettit and Mae Johnson Pettit. She was a member of Oak Park Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Hanners of Hartselle; three daughters, Annette Payne of Hinesville, Ga., Tina Creel of Warrior and Teresa Maynard of Hartselle; her mother, Mae Johnson Pettit; one sister, Wanda Classe of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren, Andrew Payne, Joshua Payne, Ryan Creel, Carly Maynard and Tessa Maynard.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Payne, Ron Creel, Bud Maynard, Doug Hanners, Jeff Hanners and Jeff Pettit.
Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
