Funeral for Virginia Lott Woodall, 94, of Hartselle was Monday, July 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeri D. Hunt officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Woodall died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at her residence. She was born September 19, 1910, in Tallapoosa to M. J. Lott and Margaret "Maggie" Benson Lott.
She was a dedicated homemaker who had a special Christian influence on all who knew her. She was a longtime member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Lesley Woodall.
She is survived by one daughter, Marty Frances Turney and husband Norris of Hartselle; one brother, James E. Lott and wife Edna of Basham; granddaughter, Leslie Ellen Turney; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jack Briscoe, Lynn Ragland, Gene Brown, Coy Turney, Jerry Teichmiller and Richard Wilcoxson.
Memorials may be made to Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund.
