Frances Street Bishop

Funeral for Frances Street Bishop, 82, of Hartselle, formerly of East Gadsden, was Sunday July 3, at 2 p.m. Crestwood Funeral Home Chapel in Gadsden.
Kevin Smith of East Gadsden Church of Christ officiated the service which included an eulogy written by family friend of 51 years, Dr. Barbara Bryant.
Burial was in Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden with Crestwood Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bishop died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1922, to J. M. Street and Lola Baker Street. She was a faithful member of East Gadsden Church of Christ and served as the church secretary for 37 years. She was retired from the registrars office at Gadsden State Community College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Bishop.
She is survived by two daughters, Fran Sullivan and husband Jamie of Somerville and Dale Sims and husband Steve of Houston, Tex; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were men of the East Gadsden Church of Christ.
