Funeral for Clora Williams, 88, of Anderson, Ind., was Saturday, June 11, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Truman Harris officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Williams died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at American Living Facility-Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born March 29, 1917, in Woodland Mills and resided in Anderson, Ind. She attended Anderson College for two years. She had attended South Meridian Church of God in Anderson and was a member of Hartselle Church of God in Hartselle before moving to Anderson.
She is survived by her sister, Geneva Williams of Anderson; nephews, James Harold Williams of Dayton, Ohio, Robert Gerald Williams of Falls Church, Va., and George Spanos of South Bend, Ind.; nieces, Joyce Yount DeFranco of Florida, Carol Yount Bond of Opelika and Wilma Morrow of Mobile; and several great-nephews and great-nieces. A special thanks to the Miriam Society of Bethany Christian Church and a special thanks to all the staff at Americare Living.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Willis Williams, Harold Williams and James Hollis Williams; one sister, Lettus Williams Yount; two nephews, John Richard Williams and Eugene Earl Williams.
