A graveside service for Alice Pauline Royer Jones, 77, of Hartselle was Wednesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Jones died Monday, May 16, 2005, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born March 13, 1928, in Morgan County to Jake Royer and Idella Drain Royer. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Royer and R. C. Royer; and two sisters, Maggie Eubanks and Roberta Springer.
She is survived by her husband, Gurney H. "Bud" Jones of Hartselle; and two sisters, Pearline Knox Moore of Hartselle and Lucille Graveman of Cullman.
Pallbearers were Willard Springer, Arvil Nix, Phil Gilchrist, James Moses, Ernie Moses and Warner Mason.
