The music is returning to E.A.R.T.H. Park this summer.
Starting May 5 and following on every Thursday night through September, the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce will host free Concerts in the Park. The last concert of the season coincides with the city's Depot Days Festival.
Concerts will begin each Thursday at 7 p.m.
The concerts are designed to please all ages, according to chamber President Susan Hines.
"We offer a variety of musical styles and entertainers for your listening pleasure. We have gospel, country, big band, jazz, rock and roll and new age," Hines said.
Other events will be offered throughout the season, too.
"We've had watermelon and ice cream socials and some really great entertainment," in the past, Hines said.
The May 5 concert will feature the Fellowship Quartet and offers a "foot tapping, hand clapping good time," she said.
"This group is a real crowd pleaser," Hines said.
The schedule for the remainder of May includes:
Future schedules will appear in upcoming issues of the Hartselle Enquirer.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to the park.
The chamber is also looking for groups to perform in the future.
