Funeral for Dorothy Light Reed, 81, of Trinity was Saturday, April 16, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Stephen Caudle and Bob Cyphers officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Cedar Springs Senior Campus. She was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Tanner to William Osbie Light Sr. and Mae Long Light. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Reed.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Reed Speakman of Oakland, Tenn., Susan Diane Reed Wright of Hartselle and Patricia Reed Hardiman of Houston; two sisters, Helen Roan Royer and Bobbie Jett, both of Decatur; one brother, Osbie Light of Decatur; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
