Funeral for Clarrene Brown, 79, of Eva was Friday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Kelly and Gary Miller officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at her residence. She was born July 18, 1925, in Winston County to Clarence Samuel Alexander and Perlie May Tomblin Alexander. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Brown; one brother, Ewell Alexander; and one sister, Lovie Roberts.
She is survived by two sons, Johnnie Brown and wife Patsy of Eva and Jerry Brown and wife Joyce of Tanner; three daughters, Joan Ganus and husband Bill of Blountsville, Robin Holmes and husband Ricky of Eva and Sherry Childers of Cullman; three brothers, Cleo Alexander, Charley Alexander and Hollis Alexander, all of Eva; two sisters, Jewel Nelson of Eva and Audrey Holmes of Hueytown; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brian Brown, Shannon Brown, Casey Brown, Greg Brown, McClain Holmes, Alex Childers, Bob Ganus, John Ganus and Josh Ganus.
