Funeral for Emma Vest Lindsey, 91, of Danville was Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jack Bailey and Charles Foreman officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Lindsey died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Decatur Health &Rehabilitation Center. She was born Oct. 17, 1913, in Morgan County to Ernest Vest and Ada Wallace Vest. She was a member of Danville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lindsey; and a son, Charles Wayne Lindsey.
She is survived by one daughter, Frances Peek and husband, Hansel of Decatur; three sisters, Ona Rhodes of Hartselle, Mary Grace Asherbranner of Massey and Mildred Blackwood of Hartselle; one daughter-in-law, Betty Lindsey Landers; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ray McCutcheon, Troy Woodall, Doug Peek, Ronnie Blackwood, Doug Vest and John Sims.
