Funeral for Rosie Mae Henry Drain was Saturday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Rob Jackson officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Drain died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005. She was a member of Central Baptist Church since 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents; her younger brother, Gene Henry; and her older brother, Leo Henry.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, James "Jim" H. Drain; her son, Jim Drain and wife Libby; three daughters, Elizabeth McRae and husband Garland, Sherry McDaniel and husband Frank, and Shelia Drain; grandchildren, Dee Dee (Drain) and Gary Wilson, Natalie (McRae) and Scott Van Wagner, Brandi (McDaniel) and David McClendon, Angie McRae, Mike and Amanda McDaniel and Trish McRae; her great-grandchildren, Heather and Molly Van Wagner, Zak and Mackenzie Wilson, Isabella McRae and Kaidan McClendon; four brothers, James Henry, John Henry, George B. Henry and Hoyt Henry; and one sister, Kathleen Lorance.
Pallbearers were Herman Marks Sr., Herman Marks Jr., A.W. "Buddy" Landers, Davis Woodruff, Bruce Young and Tag Glenn.
Honorary pallbearers were Willie Pentecost and members of his Sunday school class.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
