Kathryn Faye Williams Neely

Funeral for Kathryn Faye Williams Neely, 79, of Decatur was Saturday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Buddy Champion officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Neely died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 12, 1925, in the Cotaco area to Alex H. Williams and Leonte Day Williams. She was employed by South Central Bell until 1960, at which time she adopted her daughter and devoted her life to being a full-time mother and homemaker. She was a native and lifelong resident of Morgan County. She was a Christian with a gift for giving and meeting others' needs. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 42 years. Mrs. Neely was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Neely; her parents; and two brothers, Alex Sherill Williams and James Day Williams.
She is survived by one daughter, Robin Neely Henderson and husband Cecil of Decatur; one step-granddaughter, Lydia K. Henderson of Decatur; and two stepgrandsons, Matt D. Henderson and Adam W. Henderson, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers were nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
