Funeral for Brooke Lynne Hill, 33, of Decatur was held Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church of Cullman with the Rev. James Eidson and Norman Dye officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Rollins officiating.
Mrs. Hill died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1971 in Decatur to Billy Bowen and Juanita Allen Bowen. Mrs. Hill was a member of Mt. Pisgah U.P.C. She was a member of the Decatur Arts Council, the Junior League of Morgan County, Encore and the Jaycees. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Edward Healy.
She is survived by her husband Rodney Hill of Decatur; two daughters, Kayla Paige Hill and Peyton Noel Hill, both of Decatur; her mother, Juanita Healy of Decatur; her father and stepmother, Billy Bowen and Darla Bowen, both of Cullman; two sisters, Paige Wilson of Hartselle and Hope Caroline Bowen of Cullman; two stepbrothers, David Healy and wife, Kyla and Mark Healy and wife Sally, all of Seattle, Wash.; four stepsisters, Colleen Meagher and husband Tim, Maureen Healy, Susan Jacobs and husband Tom, Katie Isaacson and husband Mark, all of Seattle, Wash.; and her grandfather, William Horace Allen of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Phil Mitchell, Jeffrey S. Brown, David Langston, Wyle Blankenship, Patrick Lamb and Craig Hynes.
