Funeral for Pete Joseph Fant, 43, of Decatur was Monday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal in Decatur with Father Ted Koelin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Fant died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 16, 1960, in Jefferson County to Maurice and Mary Marino Fant. He was employed by Sun Adhesives in Decatur. Prior to moving to Decatur, he was employed by Rust International/Raytheon. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Episcopal, where he served on the vestry.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Angela Fant of Decatur; two sisters, Nell Wilkinson of Trussville and Debbie Corbin of Helena; two nephews, Brandon Corbin of Helena and Michael Wilkinson of Pinson; two nieces, Tiffany Gaylor of Alabaster and Heather Morrison of Trussville; and two great-nephews, Luke Gaylor and Joey Corbin.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3809 South Spring Ave., Decatur, AL 35603.
