Funeral for Wilda W. Street, 83, of Hartselle was Thursday, Oct. 7, at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle with the Revs. Robert Sparkman and Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Street died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Agape Village Assisted Living. She was born March 2, 1921, in Morgan County to James Roy Whitten and Lillian Thompson Whitten.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hartselle and had been active in the United Methodist Women and the Camp Meeting Association.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Street of Decatur; one son, Doug Street of Decatur; one brother, Coleman "Bill" Whitten of Falkville; one sister, Tuza Ryan of Hartselle; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Street Thorn and Caroline Street Crenshaw, both of Birmingham; and two great grandsons, Douglas Reece Crenshaw and Gilbert Taylor Crenshaw.
