James Floyd 'Sonny' Asherbranner

Funeral for James Floyd "Sonny" Asherbranner, 65, of Hartselle was Sunday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with the Revs. Ron Manly and C. G. Reding officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Asherbranner died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004. He was born April 27, 1939, in Lawrence County to James Loyd Asherbranner and Dora Lessie Asherbranner. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons, James Hoyt Asherbranner of Hartselle, John Asherbranner of Cullman and Joe Asherbranner of Falkville; two daughters, Peggy Bowen and Lisa Light, both of Falkville; one sister, Annie Locke of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were sons-in-law and nephews.
