For the second time in two weeks, the Hartselle Tigers gave their fans some anxious moments in the early going.
This week, however, if the Tigers get off to a third slow start they probably won't get a comeback win. But, before we get to the Russellville game, it's time for everyone to congratulate Bob Godsey.
The leader of the Tiger football program picked up his 50th win as head coach last Friday. In his sixth season's of coaching, at Brooks and Hartselle, he holds a .714 winning percentage.
Will Godsey pick up win number 51 this Friday?
Russellville at Hartselle
The visitors play with an air of confidence, which comes from winning region championships, year after year. A confidence which some people call a swagger.
The Tigers need to avoid the early mistakes of the past two weeks. If they do so, this could be a fantastic game.
The Tigers' roster is stocked with a wealth of talent, albeit young talent. The Tigers may have more talent than the Golden Tigers.
Although, the visitors will bring in the air of confidence,. but this Tiger team won't be intimidated. Expect to see the Tigers knock the swagger right out of Russellville…Tigers 24, Golden Tigers 7

Priceville at Holly Pond
The Bulldogs fell by 34 at Lamar County, while the Broncos topped Cold Springs. The Bulldogs will drop their second straight…Broncos 33, Bulldogs 14
Brewer at Athens
Russellville out classed the Pats last week. Meanwhile, Athens picked up their first win. The Pats hope to end the losing streak, but it won't end this week…Golden Eagles 34, Patriots 21
Mississippi at Alabama
The Crimson Tide could take a 7-0 record to Knoxville if they win this game. Ole Miss was embarrassed by Memphis last Saturday.
It'll be a similar story this week…Crimson Tide 27, Rebels 10
Auburn at Mississippi State
If Tommy Tubberville loses this game, the sympathy he gained last December will be gone.
Sylvester Croom won his opener.
The Tigers have more talent, but if Auburn is looking ahead to LSU next week, the Bulldogs could pull an upset. They won't…War Eagle 24, Sylvester and the Maroon 10
