Alexander, Burleson exchange vows
Mandy Jean Alexander of Moulton and Mark Anthony Burleson of Mantachie, Miss. were wed July 24, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Starkville Church of Christ with John T. Smithson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Kim Alexander of Moulton. The groom is the son of Tony and Debbie Burleson of Mantachie, Miss.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a strapless A-line dress of white matte satin with a wide band of iridescent beads and pearls continuing down the back in a split V with a chapel length train. Her headpiece featured a two-tier, elbow length veil with a bandeau of Swarovski crystals. She carried a bridal bouquet of white Eskimo and Virginia roses, stephanitis, spray roses and lemon leaf.
Cassie Davis Foster of Jackson, Miss. was matron of honor.
Bridal attendants were Alison Weinman and Marisha McReath, both of Hartselle, Katrina Parker of Iuka, Miss., and Kelly Hood of Marietta, Miss.
Their dresses featured a white, strapless bodice with pink ribbon at the waist and pink tea length skirts.
Breanna Alexander of Moulton, sister of the bride, and Polly Glenn of Hartselle were flower girls. Brady Hood of Marietta, Miss., nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
The groom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Paul Gilliland of Corinth, Miss., Kevin Price and Bruce Johnson, both of Columbus, Miss., and Hank Robbins of Thermopolis, Wyo.
Ushers were Tyler Alexander, brother of the bride, Adam Graham of Mantachie, Miss., and Phillip Roper of Marietta, Miss.
Music was provided by Mark Burleson.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the University Christian Student Center at Starkville Church of Christ.
The bride's table featured a four-tier, square white cake with smooth icing, polka dots and fresh flowers.
The groom's table featured an ice cream sundae bar.
Lori Cummings was wedding director. Dot Montgomery, Maverine Black, Bernice Owens, Lisa Terry, Tina Owens, LaDonna Hitt and Jeanne Bowling assisted with the reception.
Ashley Gilliland and Jennifer Lofton attended the bride's book.
The couple will reside in Starkville, Miss.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents July 23 at Ruben's Catfish House.

Hill, Tomlin to wed Sept. 25
Ronald and Margean Hill of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Margean Hill, to Jeremy Lynn Tomlin, son of Dillard and Aleisha Tomlin of Falkville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hartselle High School and a prospective graduate of Wallace State Community College with an associate's degree in nursing. She is employed at Decatur Ambulatory Surgery Center. She is the granddaughter of the late Lewis and Claudia Tankersley and the late Otto and Mary Hill.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Falkville High School and attended Wallace State Community College. He is employed at Applied Industrial Technologies. He is the grandson of the late Elzie and Dorothy Tomlin and the late Talmadge and Sarah Sheppard.
The wedding will be held Sept. 25 at 3 p.m. at Falkville Baptist Church.
Craft, Brown to wed Sept. 4
Regina Sutton Burnham of Pelham and James Craft of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Raina Dawn Craft, to David Lee Brown, son of Jimmy and Pamela Brown of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a with a degree in nursing. She is employed at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Madeline Sutton of Decatur, Vera Craft of Cullman and the late James Evon Craft.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School and a graduate of Wallace State Community College with a degree in respiratory therapy. He is employed at Huntsville Hospital and is currently serving on Army Reserves active duty in San Antonio, Texas, Fort Sam Houston at Brooke Army Medical Center.
He is the grandson of Ira and Vera Hayes of Hartselle, James Brown of Hartselle and the late Ludie Mae Brown.
The wedding will be held Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. at the Wedding Chapel on the Mountain in Huntsville.
