The Hartselle National 9/10 came back from three runs down Monday night to whip Troy American 5-3 in nine innings.
The win keeps Hartselle alive in the double elimination state championship tournament.
Kameron Wallace pitched seven innings of shutout relief to pick up the win.
With the game tied at three in the top of the ninth, Prestyn Wallace led off the frame with a single. He moved to second on a passed ball and scored when John David Rittman doubled. Blair Sittason singled to give Hartselle two runners on. The next batter, Todd Gibson, singled to center to drive in Rittman and give Hartselle a 5-3 lead.
Wallace threw a one-two-three bottom of the ninth to preserve the win.
Due to an early deadline, Hartselle's Tuesday nights game was unavailable at press time.
