Funeral for Carlton J. Mooney, 78, of Pinson was Saturday, June 26, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bennie Waid and Bro. Johnny Allred officiating.
Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery in Eva.
Mr. Mooney died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at his residence. He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Morgan County to John Mooney and Florence Taylor Mooney. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pinson. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Sarah Mooney of Pinson; one son John Mooney and wife Stacey of Pinson, one brother, Talmadge Mooney of Hartselle; one sister, Earsel Puckett of Eva; and one grandson, Brandon Mooney.
