Funeral for Harold "Red" Hopson Sr., 62, of Hartselle was Saturday, June 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel
Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.
Mr. Hopson died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born July 1, 1941, in Morgan County to Delbert Edward Hopson and Vermillon Grimes Hopson. He was owner of H&S Plumbing and Heating, a 35 year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #377, a member of the Scottish Rite Shrine and a member of the V.F.W. Post 4190.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Gail Hopson of Hartselle; two sons, Harold E. Hopson Jr. and Richard W. Hopson, both of Lawrence County; one daughter, Sherrie Gale Riddle of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
