Funeral for Helen Dunnavent Mooney, 81, of Hartselle was Monday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Hampton and Dr. T. Reynolds Hall officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mooney died Friday, April 30, 2004, at her residence. She was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Decatur to Walter Dunnavent and Edna Mae Dunnavent. She was a member of Somerville Baptist Church. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her husband Thomas David Mooney.
She is survived by one son, David Mooney and fiance Ellen Ticknor of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; one daughter, Martha Loney and husband Kevin of Hartselle; one sister, Dorothy Rogers and husband Donald of Decatur; three grandsons, Michael Mooney and wife Rebecca of Nashville, Cory Loney of Hartselle and Danny Ticknor of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; two granddaughters, Tara Mooney of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Krista Loney of Hartselle; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brian Mooney, Jimmy Nesmith, Justin Nesmith, Kenneth Junkins, Darren Tucker and Dewain Clemons.
