Funeral for Howard Gene Bell, 66, of Falkville was Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating.
Burial was in Welcome Baptist Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mr. Bell died Friday, April 23, 2004, at his residence. He was born Feb. 24, 1938, in Morgan County to Albert Hobson Bell and Elsie Lorene Penwell Bell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wimbs Bell; and one son, Jerry Don Bell.
He is survived by two sons, Terry Gene Bell of Somerville and Jerry Ray Bell of Falkville; one daughter, Cherrie Louise Gardner of Falkville; two brothers, Albert H. Bell Jr. of Birmingham and John David Bell of Hartselle; one sister, Jane Montgomery of Mississippi; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Don Smith, Billy Brasher, Robbie Tompkins, Tony Taylor, John Wimbs, Bobby Moon and Brian Taylor.
