Funeral for Mildred E. Stinson Jones, 79, of Falkville was Sunday, March 7, at 2 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church with the Revs. Jesse Estes and Harvey Reynolds officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 5, 1924, in Morgan County to Harvey Stinson and Flossie Lindsey Stinson. She was a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Don Rabe Jones and wife Donna and Charles Arnold Jones, all of Falkville; one daughter, Linda Gail Holmes and husband O.D. of Decatur; two brothers, Bud Stinson of Eva and Ed Stinson of Decatur; two sisters, Jeanette Digman of Cullman and Shirley Stinson of Falkville; grandchildren, Jessica Williams and husband Chip, Danielle Hayes and husband Josh, Jada Jones, Kyle Jones, Brittney Jones and Bryan Holmes; and great granddaughter, Jayla Marian Hayes.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Lowe, Jim Stinson, Kyle Jones, Steve Turney, Ronald Childers and Jerry Cook.
