Funeral for Joyce Marie Osborn, 48, of Danville was Wednesday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Center Baptist Church in Lawrence County with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Osborn died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at Maury County Hospital in Maury, Tenn. She was born Jan. 24, 1958, in Lawrence County to Hobert P. Abner and Flora Elizabeth Anders Abner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mable Felts.
She is survived by her husband, Oneal Osborn of Danville; six sons, Leman Osborn of Falkville, Marshall Osborn of Cullman, Randy Osborn of Danville, and Richard Osborn, Marvin Osborn and Robert Osborn, all of Moulton; eight daughters, Tina Grimes and Flora Osborn, both of Lyles, Tenn., Angie Lee, Joyce Osborn Porter, Holly Strickland, Lisa Rene and Amanda Osborn, all of Danville and April Burgett of Falkville; five brothers, Bernie Joe Walker and Jimmy Abner, both of Falkville, Burton Walker of Corith, Lowell Abner of Decatur and Dennis Abner of Sebring, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Tom Dutton, Michael Hill, Michael Osborn, Matthew Strickland, Keith Grimes and Cody Porter.
