Funeral for Harry Jack Hattery, 75, of Somerville was Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Harlon Hood officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Hattery died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Wisconsin to Ralph Hattery and Doris Loveland Hattery. He was a Mason and was retired from TVA where he was a carpenter. He was a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hattery of Somerville; two sons, Joseph H. Hattery of Moulton and Jack Hattery of Milwaukee, Wis.; one daughter, Lillian Hattery of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Ralph Hattery Jr. of New Berlin, Wis., and Wallace Hattery of George West, Texas; seven sisters, Clara Walde of Eleva, Wis., Annamae Goetzinger of Wheeler, Wis., Leona Thorson of Osseo, Wis., Carol Erickson of Boyceville, Wisc., Beatrice Ladner of Tulsa, Okla., Christine Dummer of Willmar, Minn., and Josephine Davies of Skokie, Ill.; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Christian Hattery, Eric Hattery, Joel Gurley, Phillip Gurley, David McCutcheon and Robert McCutcheon.
Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Hill and Nick Hill.
