Funeral for Myrtle Irene Johnson, 90, of Hartselle was Monday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Thompson and Tom Elder officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born July 8, 1913, in Morgan County to James Franklin Thompson and Abai Jones Thompson. She was retired from King's Dry Cleaning and was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Johnson.
She is survived by one brother, J.W. Thompson of Falkville; one sister, Tootsie Garrison of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were nephews.
