Beth Walden, 66, of Hartselle died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at her residence. She was born April 19, 1937 in Morgan County to Andrew Jackson May and Della Holmes May.
She was a Baptist and crafted hand-stitched quilts. She was preceded in death by a brother, Willard May and two sisters, Hilda Porter and Fay Britt.
She is survived by three sons, Randy E. Walden of Huntsville, Richard Michael Walden of Tallahassee, Fla. and Gary L. Walden of Columbus, Miss; two brothers, Jackson Harold May and Hoyett L. May, both of Hartselle; one sister, Dorothy May Yancey of Tallahassee, Fla.; one grandson, Jasper Walden; close friend, Edith Bennich and family; several nieces and nephews.
