Funeral for JoAnn Lawrence Carden, 69, of Falkville was Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Ashley officiating.
Mrs. Carden died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at her residence. She was born Dec. 20, 1933, in Morgan County to Joseph David Todd and Era Etta Rye Todd. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse "Mutt" Lawrence.
She is survived by her husband, John F. Carden of Falkville; two daughters, Sandra L. Lowery of Falkville and Kathy L. Hogan of Danville; one step-daughter, Linda Crouse of Ozark, Mo.; three sisters, Vernice Terry of Decatur, LaMerele Mitchell of Falkville, and Joyce Anders of Hartselle; and four grandchildren, Allison Lee, Breeann Crouse, Luke Hogan and Mollie Hogan.
Pallbearers were Stanley Mitchell, David Anders, Sammy Anders, Mark Peck, Ricky Hardin and Wesley Lawrence.
Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Myres, Jimmy Wilhite and Phil Wilhite.
