The 2003 "Winter Wonderland" annual Hartselle Christmas Parade has been set for Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.
The Hartselle Jaycees will once again sponsor the event with special guest Santa Claus and grand marshal Stan White, former Auburn University quarterback.
"The Hartselle Jaycees are proud to welcome Stan White as the grand marshal of the 2003 Hartselle Christmas Parade," Tom Sparks of the Hartselle Jaycees said.
"We are really excited about this year's event and hope everyone will bring their families out for the fun and holiday festivities."
The parade route will leave J.P. Cain Stadium and head north on Railroad Street, turn left onto Main Street, turn left onto Corsbie Street, and end in the former Wal-Mart parking lot in Hartselle Plaza.
This is the second year the route has been in use allowing the parade to end in a less congested area, offering more exiting options, and avoiding Highway 31.
There is no entry fee to participate in this year's parade, but a $5 donation per entry is requested.
Deadline for entries is Monday, Dec. 8. Entry forms and rules are available at the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce.
For more information, call Tom Sparks at 773-6534, ext. 21, or the Chamber at 773-4370.
