Funeral for Leroy Griffith, 61, of Hartselle, was Friday, October 31, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Elder officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Griffith died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at his residence. He was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Morgan County to Dallas "Roy" Griffith and Ruby Petty Griffith. He was retired from Monsanto in Decatur and was a member of the Morgan County Rescue Squad for 25 years. He was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church
He is survived by his wife, Gearldine Taylor Griffith of Hartselle; two sons, Roy Wayne Griffith and Phillip Ray Griffith, both of Hartselle; one daughter, Amanda Griffith of Hartselle; four brothers, Henry Griffith, George Griffith, Leslie Griffith and Charles Griffith, all of Hartselle; and one granddaughter, Brandi Nicole Griffith.
Pallbearers were Gary Abbott, Bobby Bassham, Kenny Lang, Jerry Eady, Tommy Key, Ricky Layton and Michael Davenport.
