Some Hartselle students are looking for information about the burial sites of Hartselle veterans.
Hartselle Junior High School social studies students began a lengthy project last school year searching out and mapping veteran's graves at Hartselle City Cemetery.
A book has been compiled naming each veteran the class was able to identify.
Students identified veterans from each war with stars on a plot map of the cemetery. The map was provided by Charles Quinn.
This year's sixth grade students are trying to complete the project by asking the community to share information about relatives and friends who were veterans and are buried in Hartselle City Cemetery. Information previously gathered has been compiled by Jeremy Griffith at Hartselle City Hall and printed as a map. The maps and book will be on display at the annual Veterans Day program at HJHS on Nov. 10, 1:30 p.m.
