Funeral for Beatrice Belew, 83, of Decatur was Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carol Hallman officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Cemetery.
Mrs. Belew died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center in Moulton. She was born Jan. 8, 1920, in Moulton to Thomas Walter Coffey and Mary Elizabeth Crow Coffey. A life-long resident of Decatur, she was a member of First Christian Church. She was the widow of Art Belew and the sister to the late Allie Mae Wright and Mary Elizabeth Cancilla.
She is survived by two sons, Russell D. Belew of Winslow, Ariz. and William Edward Belew of Decatur; one daughter, Connie Ann Williams of Huntsville; one brother, Thomas G. Coffey of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Ophelia Goode of Decatur; four granddaughters, Selena Belew, of Birmingham, Ashley Belew Pfeiffer of Sercy, Ark., Kayla Leigh Belew of Decatur and Pam Belew Bishop of Calif.; and one grandson, Russell D. Belew, Jr. of Winslow, Ariz.
