Funeral for Claudia Sally Drinkard, 99, of Summerford Nursing Home was Wednesday, October 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Oden Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Murphy officiating.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Drinkard died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at Summerford Nursing Home. Mrs. Drinkard was born June 9, 1904 in Lawrence Cove Community to Harvey Franklin Turner and Sarah Ann Drinkard Turner.She was a life long member of Lawrence Cove Baptist Church. She was the widow of Oscar Roy Drinkard who died in 1980. She was the sister of the late Madgie Pike, Lera Moore, Ara Turner and Sterling Turner.
She is survived by three nephews, William Moore of Falkville, L. A. Turner of Gold Ridge and J. L. Pike of Lawrence Cove; two nieces, Sarah Mooney of Pinson and Johnnie Faye Mayhugh of Bowling Green, Ky.
Pallbearers were great nephews and great great nephews.
