Hogan, Ray exchange vows
Kimberly Suzanne Hogan of La Grange, Ga., and Christopher Jason Ray of La Grange, Ga., were married June 28, 2003 at 6 p.m. at the National Seashore in Gulf Shores.
Rev. Wesley Sundberg officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Susan Hogan of Hartselle.
The groom is the son of Kathy McCollough of Opelika and Roger and Ann Ray of La Grange, Ga.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a strapless designer empire gown of ivory organza featuring seed pearls and silver beads.
Scattered beads embellished the A-line skirt and hemline band. Two large box pleats adorned the back, which fell into a chapel length train. Her headpiece was beaded and her elbow-length veil was edged with beading.
Her bouquet featured ivory roses and Stargazer lilies.
Tracie Hogan Hill, sister of the bride, of Decatur was matron of honor.
Wendi Jean Hogan, sister of the bride, of Florence was maid of honor.
Lori Ann Ray, sister of the groom, of La Grange, Ga., and Ashley Jenae Pepper of Huntsville were bridesmaids.
Roger Ray of La Grange, Ga., father of the groom, was the best man.
Adam Brock of Huntsville and Michael Harries of Huntsville were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Gulf Shores wedding chapel.
Elaine Harper was the wedding director.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the western Caribbean. They will reside in La Grange, Ga. A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom's parents was held at Kirk Kirkland's Hitchin' Post.
Sharp, Cleveland exchange vows
Jamie Allison Sharp of Montgomery and Eric L. Cleveland of Montgomery were married May 31, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Hartselle First United Methodist Church.
Rev. Clint Busler officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rita and Barry Hays of Hartselle and Roger Sharp of Cotaco. The groom is the son of Craig and Michelle Cleveland of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The altar was decorated with a mixture of white, burgundy and green Calla, Dark Stargazer and Casablanca lilies, along with lisianthus, roses and hydrangeas mixed with bear grass and other flowers. Also, unity candles adorned the altar. Calla lilies were placed on the pews.
The bride wore a form-fitting dress, candlelight in color, with a tank bodice of matte satin featuring a full skirt with chiffon overlay and a chapel train. Victorian buttons embellished the back and wide satin ribbons were featured at the hemline. She wore pearl jewelry for accent.
Her headpiece was a veil of single-layer baby soft tulle, elbow length and edged in candlelight ribbon, and topped by a comb of silver pearls and vines. Her bouquet featured burgundy Calla lilies, green roses, white lisianthus, white freesia and bear grass hand tied with candlelight satin ribbons.
Erika Turner of Hillsboro was matron of honor.
Casey Payne of Decatur, Erin Sharp of Auburn, and Hillary Nix of Marietta, Ga., were bridesmaids.
The attendant's dresses were sage green with empire waists of Windsor satin and chiffon, candlelight ribbon trim, and accented by pearl jewelry. The matron of honor's bouquet featured Dark Stargazer and white Calla lilies. The bridesmaids' bouquets featured burgundy Calla lilies.
All bouquets were accented with white lisianthus, white freesia and bear grass.
Kayla Lacey of Hartselle was flower girl. Her dress was designed to match the bride's dress. She also wore a halo of flowers and carried a natural wicker basket.
Craig Cleveland of Hartselle was the best man.
Dwight Brewer, Brian Burns and Ronald Chenault, all of Hartselle, were groomsmen.
Houston Cleveland of Hartselle and Daniel Sharp of Huntsville were junior groomsmen.
Music was provided by pianist Vondale Merritt, sound technician Bob Sittason, and vocalist Ken Thomas. Pre-recorded music by Jim Brickman and songs from the Titanic soundtrack were also played.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall.
The bride's table featured a five-tier floating ivory cake topped with a sculptured cake topper and scattered Stargazer, burgundy Calla lilies, freesia and orchids.
The groom's table featured a three-tier chocolate cake with fruit decoration alongside a fruit arrangement.
Wedding director was Monty Vest. Photographer was Michael Trosper. Caterer was Lucy Booth.
Elizabeth Sharp of Arab attended the bride's book. Lauren Nix of Marietta, Ga., and Natasha Harris of Eva attended the wedding favors.
The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg. They will reside in Montgomery.

Orville Collins officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kathy G. Huskey of Somerville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. McArthur Dudley of Scottsboro.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Marcus Huskey.
The bride wore a strapless formal gown of bridal satin with a chapel train.
Jennifer Huie was maid of honor.
Farrah Dudley, Vicki Dukes, Debra Hewitt, Peyton Hewitt, Hannah Guess, and Rebekah Guess were bridesmaids.
Shelby Henderson and Daylee Dudley were flower girls. Wesley Henderson was ring bearer.
Brad Dudley was the best man.
Alan Henderson, Bobby Goodell, Steve Butler, Josh Garner, Joseph Garner, Keith Haynes, Paul Butler, and Jacob Guess were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
The couple honeymooned in Point Clear. They will reside in Decatur.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom's parents was held at the Courtyard by Marriott.
