Trio of pool robbers end up all wet

A Hartselle teenager and two juveniles were arrested last week in connection with a break-in at the Hartselle City Pool.
Hartselle Police arrested Joseph Lee Melson, 18, of Hartselle and two juveniles, also of Hartselle, for breaking into the pool.
Officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of the pool when three individuals were spotted running away from the pool.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered the pool snack bar and pool office had been broken into. An empty cash register was missing. It was later located on the ground outside of the pool fence.
A pay phone and doors leading to the pool snack bar and pool office were heavily damaged.
Melson was processed into the Hartselle City Jail and later transferred to the Morgan County Jail were he was held on a $750 bond. Both juveniles were released to their parents.
