Funeral for James Donald Murphy, 67, of Decatur was Sunday, May 18, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating.
Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Murphy died Friday, May 16, 2003, at his residence. He was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Morgan County to James Carl Murphy and Goldie Lucille Lemley Murphy.
He is survived by two sons, Donnie Murphy of Hartselle and Darrell Murphy of Somerville; three daughters, Cindy Motes of Hartselle, Carla Rodrigues of Decatur and Donna Faye Garcia of Florida; one brother, Ray Murphy of Hartselle; five sisters, Doyce Maxwell of Hartselle, Carolyn Foreman of Decatur, Kathy Taylor and Vickie Eaton, both of Somerville, and Judy Dunn of Trinity; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
