Breeding, Cox to wed May 31
Troy and Debbie Breeding of Somerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Elaine Breeding, to Nicholas Dale Cox, son of Dale and Debbie Cox of Somerville.
The bride-elect is a prospective A.P. Brewer High School graduate and plans to attend Trident College in Charleston, S.C. after graduation this spring. She is the granddaughter of Nell Childers and the late Darrell Childers of Decatur, and Jay and Mildred Breeding of Tanner.
The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of A.P. Brewer High and attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is currently serving in the U.S. Navy and is stationed at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command Center in Charleston, S.C. He is the grandson of Jerry and Margie Cox of Huntsville and Frances Turner of Lacey's Spring.
The wedding will be held May 31 in Charleston.
Hargett, Barber to wed June 14
Rhonda and Wayne Hargett of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristi Dawn Hargett, to Roger Lee Barber, son of James Alan and Alice Barber of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Danville High School.
She is employed by Hartselle Medical Center as a baker. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bush of Hartselle, Doris Parker and the late R.C. Parker of Trinity. She is the great granddaughter of Ava Hargett and the late Virl Hargett.
The groom-elect is employed by Russell Forest Products, Inc. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Huffman and the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. Barber.
The wedding will be held June 14 at Stoney Acres Baptist Church in Decatur.
Strickland, Drake to wed May 24
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rowe Strickland of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Lane Strickland, to Bradley Steven Drake, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Michael Drake of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Hartselle High School and is currently attending the University of Montevallo majoring in education of the hearing impaired. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Strickland of Hartselle, Mrs. Betty R. Durden of Decatur and the late Mr. Bernard S. Durden.
The groom-elect is a 1995 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 1999 graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in biology. After graduating from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in May, he plans to open an optometry practice in Hartselle.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Vera Johnson Drake and the late Mr. J.B. Drake of Hartselle, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Basil McReath of Falkville.
The wedding will be held May 24 at 7 p.m. at Gabrella Manor in Birmingham.
Hogan, Ray to wed June 28
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Hogan of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Suzanne Hogan, to Christopher Jason Ray, son of Ms. Kathy McCollough of Opelika and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ray of Lagrange, Ga.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Grissom High School and a 2002 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
She is employed by Jeter Primary School in Opelika as a second grade teacher. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Hogan of Huntsville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Fulmer.
The groom-elect is a 1993 graduate of Opelika High School and attended Southern Union State College. He is employed by Mike Patton Honda in Lagrange, Ga., as a parts manager.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Young of Lanett.
The wedding will be held June 28 in Orange Beach.
Huskey, Dudley to wed June 28
Kathy Huskey of Somerville announces the wedding of her daughter, Kristi Carmon Huskey, to Gregory Michael Dudley, son of Mr. and Mrs. McArthur Dudley of Hollywood.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of A.P. Brewer High School. She is employed by the Decatur-Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau as group sales director. She is the president of the Decatur-Morgan County Hospitality Association. She is the granddaughter of Jo Ann Goode of Lacey's Spring and the late Bobby Goode.
The groom-elect is a 1987 graduate of Scottsboro High School and a 1998 graduate of Athens State University. He is employed by A.P. Brewer High School as a welding technology instructor. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleave Jacobs and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dudley, all of Fackler.
The wedding will be held June 28 at Autumnwood Baptist Church.
