Carnell, Wynn to wed May 10
James and Donna Carnell of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra Dawn Carnell, to Brian Dewayne Wynn, son of Charlie and Joan Wynn of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Bethel Baptist High School and attended Calhoun Community College. She is employed by Joe Sartain Ford in Decatur as a title clerk. She is the granddaughter of Douglas and Betty Lucas of Hartselle and John and Vivian Carnell of Hartselle.
The groom-elect is a 1996 graduate of Austin High School and a 1998 graduate of Wallace State College with a degree in C&C machining and programming. He is employed by Wynn's Hydraulics in Decatur.
The future groom is the grandson of Neal and Emma Holland of Decatur, the late Catherine Holland, and the late Lloyd and Elsie Wynn.
The wedding will be held May 10 at 4 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Decatur.
Lyons, Crisler to wed July 12
Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Lyons of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Paulette Lyons, to Alan Dyer Crisler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Crisler of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a 1993 graduate of Hartselle High School, a 1996 graduate of Wallace State College with an associate's of applied science degree, and is currently pursuing a registered nursing degree. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haskell Whatley of Cullman and the late Ollie Mae Lyons of Moulton.
The groom-elect is a 1991 graduate of Decatur High School and a 1997 graduate of The University of Alabama in Huntsville with a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering.
He is employed by International Paper in Courtland as a maintenance engineer. He is the grandson of Sue Dyar and the late DW Dyar of Decatur, Mrs. Pauline Crisler of Town Creek, and the late J.H. and Wylene Crisler.
The wedding will be held July 12 at 6 p.m. at The Chapel at Prewitt Farm.
Nelson, Wallace to wed July 26
David and Lori Nelson of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole Nelson, to Joshua Robert "Chip" Wallace, son of Martha and Steve Shelton of Decatur and Jo Wallace of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Hartselle High School and will graduate from Wallace State College this May with a degree in nursing. She will be employed by Huntsville Hospital. She is the granddaughter of Larry Metzger and the late Helen Metzger of Hartselle and Colleen and Roy Reeves of Hartselle.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School, a 1999 graduate of Calhoun Community College with an associate's of science degree, and a 2001 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is employed by the Huntsville Police Department. He is the grandson of Oneal and Carolyn Shelton of Decatur, the late Harold and Bessie Harris of Hartselle, Janie Wallace and the late Lloyd Wallace of Hartselle.
The wedding will be held July 26 at 2 p.m. at Forrest Chapel Methodist Church in Hartselle.
Gilstrap, Sprague to wed May 3
William T. and Montez Gilstrap, Jr. of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Billye Rene Gilstrap, to Robert Patrick Sprague, son of Dr. Judith Sprague of Madison, Conn., and Dr. Donald Sprague of Clear Lake Shores, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Brewer High School and a 2000 cum laude graduate of the University of South Alabama with a bachelor's of science degree in cardio-respiratory therapy.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Gilstrap, Sr. of Cumming, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Walton, Jr.
The groom-elect is a 1993 graduate of Solesbury High School and a 1998 graduate of Springhill College with a bachelor's degree in art and history.
The wedding will be held May 3 in Mobile.
