Davis, Routh wed March 27
Kelley Bene' Davis of Hartselle and Lance Randall Routh of Decatur were married March 27, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. at West Hartselle Baptist Church.
Rev. Mark Shaw officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Elizabeth Davis of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Joseph and Dottie Routh of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a formal gown of ivory French tulle and re-embroidered Alencon lace designed with a molded bodice of Alencon lace and a Basque waistline. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline and beaded spaghetti straps. The fully gathered ball gown skirt fell from the waist and was adorned with cascades of beaded re-embroidered Alencon lace. A wide border of lace graced the hemline that swept into a cathedral length train, also embellished with beaded lace motifs. Her veil of imported French tulle was held by a matching bridal bandeau.
Shelby Davis of Hartselle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Jodi Caver of Pelham, Kristi Dunivant of Pulaski, Tenn., Kellie Sims of Danville, Summer Morgan of Decatur, and Yolanda Routh of Hartselle, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids.
Sara Barnett of New Market, Amber Bracken of Hartselle, and Ashley Bracken of Hartselle were junior bridesmaids.
Lauren Caver of Pelham was flower girl and Landon Sims of Danville was ring bearer.
Joseph Routh, father of the groom, was the best man.
Nathan McCollum of Hartselle, Jason Caver of Pelham, James Gilbert of Hartselle, Robert Sims of Danville, and Christopher Davis of Hartselle, brother of the bride, were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall.
Music was provided by Deanna Anderson, Nord Smith, and Jim Fuqua of Hartselle.
Wedding director was Sharron Steele of Hartselle. Assisting with the reception were Suzy McCollum of Hartselle, Judy Lawrence of Hartselle, Maxine Hall of Hartselle, Bridgett Eaton of Hartselle, Brittany Eaton of Hartselle, and Jessica Woodruff of Hartselle.
Shawn Thorn of Decatur and Valerie Gray of Memphis kept the bride's book.
Bubble attendants were Chelsea Woodruff and Zackary Woodruff of Hartselle.
Bell ringers were Anna Craig and Emily Craig.
Program attendants were Shannon Robinson, Bailey Martin, and Chloe Wilson.
The couple honeymooned in Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, Mexico. They will reside in Decatur.
The couple was honored with a rehearsal diner on March 21 at the Hartselle Depot given by the groom's parents.
