Funeral for Lewis Wilburn Hill, 80, of Falkville was Wednesday, April 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Bozeman officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hill died Monday, April 7, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born January 27, 1923 in Morgan County to William Benjamin Hill and Myrtle McNalley Hill. He was a member of the Falkville Church of God and retired as a truck driver for Prestolite in Decatur. He was the father of the late Lewis Roland Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Lee Griffith Hill of Falkville; four sons, Roy D. Hill of Decatur, Nathan Hill of Hartselle and Tommie Hill and Alton Hill, both of Falkville; two daughters, Martha Lawrence of Danville and Pat Moore of Cullman; one brother, Aubrey Jack Hill of Eva; one sister, Virginia Sartain of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wade Lawrence, Ben Lawrence, Justin Hill, Jonathan Hill, Michael Bryant, Clint Osteen and Gary Franks.
