Funeral for Earline Jones Orr, 84, of Hartselle was Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dewitt Crowe, Milan Dekich and Jack Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Orr died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1918, in Morgan County to Lawson Houston Jones and Bertha Lee Waddell Jones. She was a homemaker, a member of the Basham United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Hopewell Homemakers Club. She was the widow of R.B. Orr.
She is survived by three sons, Shirley Orr and Leo Orr, both of Hartselle and Danny Orr of Dixons Mills; two daughters, Linda Ryan of Massey and Charlotte Smith of Hartselle; one sister, Edna Lee of Hartselle; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Glenn Smith, Patrick Ryan, David Ryan, Brian Metz, Jack Phillips, Sam Anders, Jackie Hughes and Jimmy Jones.
