Funeral for Johnny Lee Moore, 64, of Somerville will be Thursday (today), April 3, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. T. Reynolds Hall and Rev. Ron Bishop officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Moore died Monday, March 31, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born December 6, 1938 in Morgan County to Sherley H. Moore and Arvilla Mills Moore. He retired from Wolverine Tube Inc., where he worked as an inspector for 42 years. He was a member of the Alabama Cattleman's Association, a Christian and attended Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lexie Leeth Moore of Somerville; one son, Michael L. Moore of Somerville; one daughter, Susan Moore Whitten of Hartselle; one brother, Jimmy H. Moore of Hartselle; two sisters, Nancy Moore Guire and Deborah Moore Penney, both of Hartselle; and three grandchildren, Leah Whitten, Mary Margaret Moore and John Michael Moore.
Pallbearers will be Byron Guire, Jimmy Sivley, Phil Teague, Joe Teague, Billy Oakes, Gilmore Mills and Sherman Kirby.
Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers of Wolverine Tube.
