VINEMONT – Falkville's struggle continued in Vinemont.
The Blue Devils, who started the season 7-2, lost their seventh consecutive game Friday evening, as the Eagles won 11-5.
Falkville jumped on Vinemont for five early runs, but could not hold on down the stretch, as the Eagles scored 11 unanswered runs.
Jamie Newcomb suffered the loss. The right hander found himself in several bases-loaded situations before giving way to Ross Summerford in the fifth. Ryan Summerford entered the contest in the sixth inning for his first action of the year. Ryan Summerford had battled an injury up until Friday.

The Eagles appeared to find holes in the fifth inning, with short bloopers and "seeing-eye" singles.
Cody Pearson made the most noise of the inning, hitting a bases loaded single to score Roberson and Jake Parrish.
Vinemont added two more runs in the sixth inning due to three Falkville errors.
