McCaghrens mark anniversary
Daniel and Susan McCaghren celebrated their first anniversary Jan. 26, 2003.
She is the daughter of Gary and Judy Lemmond, of Hartselle. He is the son of Ted McCaghren and Susan Terry, both of Hartselle.
The couple were married Jan. 26, 2002 at 1 p.m. at Basham United Methodist Church. Rev. Eddie Bond Sr. officiated the services.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal designer gown of Italian satin. The long-sleeved gown featured a sweetheart neckline with a basque waistline that flowed into a princess-style skirt and featured a semi-cathedral train. A bridal bandeau of white pearls held a fingertip veil of shimmer tulle accented with white cording.
She carried a bouquet of white roses.
Amy Bond of Hartselle was maid of honor. Tammy Dotson of Decatur, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Miranda Rutherford of Decatur was a bridesmaid and Lily Wallace of Decatur was flower girl.
Shannon Woods of Decatur was best man. Ted McCaghren, the groom's father, and Jeff Paitsel of Decatur were groomsmen.
Candlelighters and ushers were Brian Terry and Jonathan Barnett of Hartselle, Wiley Borden of Lacey's Spring and Alan Lash of Madison. Michael Woods of Decatur was ring bearer.
Amy Lewis of Huntsville kept the bride's book. Music was written by the groom and coordinated by Shane Dotson.
Assisting in the reception at the church were Wanda Turysin, Lavada Knox, Michelle Tapscott, Lori Knox, Jean Lipscomb and Kathy Cagle.
The bride's colors were silver and blue. The wedding cake, provided by Ruby Little of Decatur, was a three-tier fountain accented with blue and white flowers.
The couple now resides in Hartselle.
